Growing up, what did you want to be? A journalist or author.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Marissa Mayer. She is a working mom and the CEO of Yahoo. I doubt she has time for lunch, but if she did, I would love to know how she balances life with such a demanding career.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? I love Kaleidoscope in Brookhaven and Tin Lizzy’s in Buckhead will always be a go-to spot for me.
What do you love most about the industry? I love helping my clients reach their real estate goals. Whether it’s finding their dream home, selling their home in a timely manner or finding them a money-making investment, making my clients happy is the best part of the job.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I market my properties across a variety of platforms, and use the latest technology available for maximum exposure. My marketing materials are top-notch and I use social media to create a buzz and excitement about a property. And most of all, I am easily accessible for my clients. They know they can always reach me if they need me.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Having frustrated clients. Whether we can’t find the right property, or we’re getting outbid, or we aren’t getting the right offers on a listing. I don’t like when my clients aren’t happy! Also, finding that balance between work and life. It’s easy to be “on” all the time with this job.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? To the internet! I do a ton of networking through social media (Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn).

What is your favorite restaurant? Atlanta has too many good ones! JCT Kitchen, King and Duke and Saint Cecilia are some amazing ones that come to mind.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? I love the English-American Building (The Flatiron Building) downtown. I used to pass it almost everyday when I was in college at GA State.
