Originally from Chattanooga, Michelle studied nursing at Vanderbilt University, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. After changing career paths, she earned bachelors degrees in both accounting and interior design from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, then headed to Atlanta. She has been a practicing designer for 15 years, and is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers.

I'm writing to tell you how very impressed and pleased I am with the service, guidance, and exceptional efforts I received from Michelle Hayes in the course of selling my townhouse. I was faced with the daunting task of selling my home in Alpharetta from almost 3,000 miles away. This was compounded by the difficulty of having to get the house in shape to sell after my son and his friends had lived in it for two years and taken less than desirable care of it.
My time in town was very limited and Michelle was not only willing, but eager to meet with me during her holiday weekend to see the property. We quickly found that the house was in far worse shape than I had even imagined, but Michelle was undeterred. She gave me sound advice and was always clear and straightforward with me about what needed to be done to get the best sales price for my home. Michelle would have been perfectly within reason to have offered me some advice and then simply asked me to call her when I was ready to list. Instead, she stayed in regular contact with me and often stepped in to assist with onsite meetings with contractors and reviews of their work as my surrogate. Michelle was never afraid to give me her honest opinion of what was in my best interest, regardless of whether she thought it may be something I might not want to hear.
The fact that I was under contract only a week after listing, for the price I wanted, and the highest in the neighborhood to date for comparable properties, is only further testament to Michelle's hard work and obvious clear understanding and knowledge of the area's real estate market. That all of this happened without my having a nervous breakdown is just short of miraculous, and I am eternally grateful to Michelle.
