Born and raised in Atlanta, Shanna Smith has a unique and personal perspective on living in various neighborhoods throughout the Atlanta area. In 1999, Shanna and her husband bought their first home in Virginia-Highland. Since that time, they have purchased and sold several homes in the neighborhoods of Morningside, Brookhaven and Buckhead. Today, Buckhead’s Tuxedo Park is where they call home with their two children.
After graduating from Brenau Women’s College, Shanna pursued a career in medical sales. Leaving the medical industry to raise a family, Shanna decided to blend her love for interior design and real estate and formed Staging Places, a full staging and design company. Here, she used her training as an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) to provide real estate agents, homeowners and developers with staging strategies that maximize home values for their clients. Today, she brings her Staging knowledge and experience to her clients at Dorsey Alston.
Buying and selling a home is a major life decision and can be an extremely emotional time. Shanna draws deeply from her own personal experiences to create a business philosophy that is committed to delivering unique and personalized service to each individual client, each step of the way, in the home buying and selling process.
