Jenny Nix
Jenny decided to get her real estate license in 1994 when she bought her first house and felt from that experience that she would like to offer a low stress, well-informed real estate transaction. That house was in West Midtown in a tucked away neighborhood called Underwood Hills. Today she sells most of the houses in the neighborhood.
Jenny has a straightforward approach to real estate with both buyers and sellers. It is her goal to stay informed and to offer constant communication to her clients. She has been a broker since 1998 and holds an Accredited Buyer Representative® and Graduate, Realtor® Institute designation. She is a graduate of the Georgia State University.
Jenny lives in her third home in Underwood Hills with her husband, David, and three children Elijah, Zadie and Oliver. She is actively involved in the neighborhood.

Selling a House
Thinking of selling your property?
I would love to help. This market can be tricky and I have years of experience guiding clients through the process. Selling your property can be stressful and my goal is to make it as easy for you as possible. I offer an organized, detailed process that is hard to find in today’s real estate market.
WRITTEN MARKETING PLAN
I provide a written plan that outlines our entire process up front for you. I work with a team of professionals that can help you make your home stand out from other listings on the market.
PROFESSIONAL STAGER
I work with a professional home stager who can help with de-cluttering, rearranging, color selection and many other options that help your house become as appealing to buyers as possible.
PRICING
I make a point stay current on the market and preview properties that will be potential competition for your house.
I also work with a licensed appraiser who will provide an upfront “desk top” or shortened form of an appraisal to ensure your price can be supported by the market.
MARKETING
Dorsey Alston will list your property on the First Multiple Listing Service, REALTOR.com and hundreds of other websites to get maximum exposure to agents and buyers.
I use a professional photographer to shoot your home so that your property stands out compared to other listings.
KEEPING YOU POSTED
It is important that you know what I am doing for you in terms of marketing.
Once your property is listed, you will receive emails with links letting you know exactly how your home appears on different websites.
I will send you the full color flyer to proof and to post on your Facebook page or other social media if you would like to be involved in the process.
My lockboxes are registered so that we can tell each time your house is shown. I send an immediate request for Feedback to the agent who has shown the property and you receive a copy of that feedback in real time.
I also set up a unique personalized website of the neighborhood your house is in that will notify you with new listings, price changes or properties that are no longer on the market in your neighborhood. The properties on your website will be updated as there are changes in availability or price.
I believe in treating the sale of your house like I would treat selling my own. You deserve an organized, well-informed approach to the sales process.
A lot of time and effort is spent in knowing what your competition is and how a buyer’s appraiser will view your home in terms of value. I take a straightforward, direct approach to helping you get your house ready to market. The current market demands your Realtor® be a busy local expert willing to be honest with you.
My goal is for our sign to remain in your yard without a sold sign on it for as short a time as possible. My past clients have been very satisfied with our level of service, knowledge, and constant communication.
If you are thinking of selling your digs, please call or email today – I would love to help.

Testimonials
“Jenny was wonderful in helping me sell my home. She quickly and adeptly solved a couple of problems that developed. Plus she kept me calm and on track for the swift close. She had the house under contract with a backup in three days.”
-Seller of 1810 Harper Street
“There wasn’t a moment when we doubted Jenny’s candid and excellent advice. We’re very excited about our new home, and grateful to Jenny for finding it for us.”
-Buyers of 1752 Ridgeway Avenue
“Heading into our impending home sale, my wife and I already understood that Jenny Nix knew the Underwood Hills real estate market better than anybody else. She covered every detail of our sale: she helped us redesign the interior of our home, she designed a gorgeous brochure that showcased our house well and she established a comprehensive online network so that we could both market and receive feedback on our home. We sold our home exactly one month to the date that we listed it with her. We could not be happier about the experience and the outcome of working with her.”
-Sellers of 1845 Defoor Avenue
“Jenny went above and beyond the call of duty working with our family during relocation out of state, handling details with the relocation company, inspectors, repairmen, etc… We were very pleased with the overall experience and continue to recommend Jenny to our friends and family.”
-Sellers of 1826 Harper Street
“We had a very tough situation to deal with and Jenny stepped in and handled everything beautifully. The house had numerous cosmetic problems and didn’t show well at all – yet Jenny was able to get the prospective buyers to see beyond that and realize what a nice home it could be for them AND she got us a speedy closing. Jenny was very compassionate yet professional and in general a delight to work with.”
-Sellers of 1719 Marvin Street
“You’re the best. I will definitely refer anyone I know who might be in the market your way with glowing endorsements.”
-Buyer of 716 Berkeley Avenue
“Because we were admittedly green, their know-how was invaluable. Their forethought was truly extraordinary. Moreover, being an attorney, my hours are long and unbending. They rearranged their schedules to accommodate ours – meeting countless weekends and after-hours. Still, they were professional to the end. That said, I would have no problem giving either of them a ‘real’ hug at the end of the day … and have! Buying a house is an extremely personal experience. Trusting our advocates made our experience amazing. And “advocate” is the best word I can use for them, and a term I do not use lightly! Thank you for everything!!”
-Buyers of 2195 Brookview
“We want to tell you how much we appreciate the job you did in assisting us with the sale of our house. With your assistance and expertise, we were able to sell our house at a price well in excess of what we thought we’d receive in this kind of market. Based on your responsiveness, professionalism and market insight, we will certainly recommend you in the future to others looking for an agent. Thanks again.”
-Sellers of 1770 Springer
“When my husband decided to move his company to Los Angeles, I found myself in charge of packing up our belongings, getting the house in order to put on the market, finding a realtor to list the house, and getting the house sold. Never having sold a house before, this could have been an unbelievably daunting task, but Jenny Nix made the process easy and enjoyable. I had seen her name everywhere in the neighborhood (there aren’t many “for sale” signs without her name) and had heard only good things about her and so she was the obvious choice of Realtors®. It’s never easy to sell a house (there’s usually a lot of work to be done to get it in shape to show and it can be emotionally draining) and it doesn’t make it any easier when you are bopping back and forth between two coasts. Jenny helped me organize my list of to-dos, gave me suggestions of contractors to do any work that was needed, kept me on track and even scheduled appointments and got quotes when necessary. She was a true godsend. She walked me through the selling process from beginning to end and held my hand throughout. Jenny was so much more than a Realtor®; she also filled the role of teacher, cheerleader, go-getter and friend. Hands down the best and easiest choice I made was to select Jenny Nix as our Realtor®. Bottom line is – she sold our house, for a profit, in a down market. Is there really anything else to say?”
-Seller of 1910 Woodland Hills
“She goes above and beyond the call of duty. You may hear this nowadays but truly - it makes life so much easier when someone not only anticipates my next question but also answers it and delivers on it immediately. The most recent example of this is her assistant offered to babysit the twins while Jenny drove me to the closing! Now, that’s what I call service! So, all of these things are nice you may say, the greatest is that Jenny has consistently negotiated in our favor. We actually walked away from the closing table this last time with money for the twins’ college fund! With all that said, I couldn’t and wouldn’t recommend anyone who would do a better job, represent you well and work hard for you!”
-Seller of 798 Verner
“Our experience with Jenny was excellent. Before listing our house, we interviewed four agents and definitely feel we made the right choice by picking her. Her straight talk motto is more than a catch slogan. As first time sellers, she helped us understand all the items that we needed to do to get the house ready in a difficult market condition. As the offer came in and we were under contract she helped with everything needed to negotiate the best price as well as make sure the deal went through. We would highly recommend her to anyone.”
