Robert Peterson
Robert began his residential real estate career in 2007 and has since been involved in $20 million in residential transactions. He is a member of the 2009 & 2010 Atlanta Board of Realtors® Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club. Before discovering his true passion of selling residential real estate, Robert worked as a commercial real estate agent and in residential construction management and development. His career background has provided him with numerous personal and business connections, as well as a negotiating skill set that has proven extremely valuable to his clients. Born and raised in Buckhead, Robert's understanding of the residential market allows him to confidently advise his clients so they can make the important decisions necessary when buying or selling a home.
Prior to joining Dorsey Alston, Realtors® as an associate broker in 2010, Robert served as owner and principle broker of Peterson Residential Realty and Peterson Partners, LLC (2005 - 2009). He served as a leasing representative for CarrAmerica Realty (2001 - 2004) and worked as an office tenant representative for the Staubach Company (1999 - 2001). During his commercial real estate career, he was directly involved in more than 60 commercial lease or sale transactions.
Personal Profile
Robert graduated from The Lovett School in Atlanta in 1994 and from The University of Georgia in 1999. He is a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors, Northside United Methodist Church, the Piedmont Driving Club and the Nine O'Clocks. He has remained an active alumnus serving on numerous committees for both The Lovett School and Sigma Alpha Epsilon at UGA, where he also served as fraternity president in 1998.
Robert and his wife Malloy live in Collier Hills with their two young sons, Trey and Brantley.
