Michael is the second-generation Rogers and third Atlanta native to own and run Dorsey Alston, Realtors. He became chairman of Dorsey Alston in 2000, while serving as the president of BMW of Macon and as the lead developer of Manhead Marina in Brunswick, Ga. In 2009, Michael returned to Atlanta to join Dorsey Alston full-time as the company's president and CEO. He holds a broker's license with the Georgia Real Estate Commission and is a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors. He also serves on the board of directors of the Buckhead Coalition. Raised in Atlanta, Rogers graduated from The Westminster Schools before receiving his bachelor's degree with honors in economics from the University of Virginia and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Spalding White, vice president and managing broker at Dorsey Alston, has more than 35 years local Atlanta experience in real estate. White was the 2002 recipient of the Realtor of the Year award. A native of Atlanta, White served as the 2002 President of the Atlanta Board of Realtors and is a licensed real estate instructor for the state of Georgia. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was released from active duty in 1970 with the rank of Captain. He holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in business from Georgia State University. White has served in numerous leadership roles throughout his auspicious career. In 2001, he served as the inaugural dean of the Leadership Program with 21 students, future leaders of the Atlanta Board of Realtors. He was also the recipient of the Captains of Industry Award from the Atlanta Board of Realtors, and recipient of their President's Award.
Lynne James, with more than 35 years of relocation experience, joined Dorsey Alston, Realtors in 2009 after holding the position of Vice President and Director of Relocation for Buckhead Brokers and then Harry Norman, Realtors. As a founding member of the Metro Atlanta Relocation Council, James served as president in 2002 and is currently serving her third two-year term on the Advisory Council. She is also currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Relocation Directors Council (RDC) and has previously served as a Director of the Georgia Economic Developers Association. Her accomplished tenure in the industry has earned her numerous decorations including the 2003 ERC Meritorious Service Award and the 2005 Leading Real Estate Companies of the World President’s and Chairman’s Service Awards.
