    Virginia Highland can be found north of Poncey-Highland, east of Piedmont Park, south of Morningside, and west of Druid Hills.  It is in close proximity to Piedmont Park, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, and Zoo Atlanta.  Over the years, Virginia Highland continues to be voted one of Atlanta’s favorite neighborhoods to live.  One of the biggest draws to this neighborhood is its walk ability.  Between clothing boutiques, restaurants, and jewelry shops, Virginia Highland has so much to offer!  

  • Virginia Highland History
    Virginia Highland was founded as a streetcar suburb in the early 20th century.  It is known for its historic bungalow style homes and other historic homes that were built between 1910 and 1940.  You will also find modern style homes, townhomes, and condos in this neighborhood.

    Public Schools within the area include Springdale Park Elementary, Morningside Elementary, Inman Middle School, and Henry W. Grady High School.  Nearby Private Schools include The Children’s School and Paideia School.
