Rik has had a passion for residential and commercial real estate, architecture, design, and construction throughout his business career. After a successful career in senior sales and management positions with building material companies, Armstrong and Mohawk Industries, Rik decided to pursue his passion of real estate marketing and selling homes. He sees this success as a direct result of his interest in collaborating with people and dedication to helping his clients accomplish their goals. He brings experience in negotiation, communication, problem-solving, diligence and excellent customer service, so that his buyers and sellers have a successful real estate experience.
Rik is dedicated to serving all client types whether you are a first-time home buyer, investor, empty nester looking to downsize or a growing family in transition. His primary goal is to be his clients advocate in helping them successfully navigate any real estate transaction.
Originally from Ohio, Rik has lived in numerous cities throughout the US. He happily settled into the Atlanta area 13 years and now resides in Cobb County with his wife, Diane. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.
Rik holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Bowling Green State University. His passions and interests are in helping others as a volunteer with MUST Ministries, the American Red Cross as a DAT and supporting the Boy Scouts at the District level by serving on Eagle Boards of Review and at the Troop/Pack level as a Life to Eagle Coach and Secretary/Treasurer of his grandson’s Cub Pack. Other interests include travel, the Atlanta food scene, golf and hiking the Appalachian Trail.
Rik loves the greater Atlanta area and all that it has to offer. He is excited to be part of the Dorsey Alston family and would be honored to have the opportunity to assist you with all your real estate needs.
