Taylor is a native Atlantan who grew up in Buckhead and graduated from Trinity School, The Westminster Schools, and The University of Georgia. She and her husband have two children, who are Trinity and Lovett graduates and are attending The University of Alabama.
As a child growing up in Atlanta, Taylor always jumped at the chance to go to “The Lake” with friends. She frequented Lake Burton, Lake Rabun and Lake Seed, but Lake Rabun always held a special place in her heart. In the fall of 2015, she and her husband decided to finally make their dream of owning a lake home a reality. After they purchased their “Happy Place” on Lake Rabun, they quickly learned that Lake Rabun was all that they hoped it would be and more. They immediately got involved in the community by joining the Lake Rabun Association, attending the annual parties and activities, and volunteering for the Foundation fundraising efforts. Taylor is now a proud Trustee of the Lake Rabun Association. The whole Schwieger family would tell you buying their home on Lake Rabun is the best decision they ever made. They all love to bring friends to the lake and enjoy spending quality time as a family at their lake house.
After careers in Education, Event Planning, Sales, and most importantly, MOM, as Taylor faced an empty nest at home, she decided to become a Realtor and use her experience working with others to help new people find their “Happy Place!” Prior to joining Dorsey Alston, Taylor has helped many clients make their dream of owning a lake home a reality. She loves to introduce new people to the lakes. It brings her great joy to watch as people figure out which lake is their lake and which house is their house! Taylor recently made the move to Dorsey Alston so she can help people find their “Happy Place” at the lake or in Atlanta.
