We are excited to welcome record-setting real estate agent Austin Landers to Dorsey Alston REALTORS.

Austin is a huge fan of intown neighborhoods, the ones near parks with streets lined with big trees. He lives in Midtown and loves the walkability, but he also loves Virginia-Highland, Oakhurst and Inman Park, to name a few.

“They all have the most charming streets with historic homes,” he said, adding, “I can truly see perks in every community around Atlanta.” He got his start in real estate as an intern for a top producing brokerage team in 2013 and was quickly recognized as one of the youngest success stories in the business. His first sale was for a family friend in his hometown of Cartersville. Landers said the sellers knew the house would sell quickly and could have done a For Sale By Owner, but they wanted to give the young Realtor an opportunity, which he has not forgotten.

He chose Dorsey Alston because of its size and culture. “Many firms in town are growing at exponential rates, but that isn’t us. It’s much more targeted growth,” Austin said. “The result is efficient operations, greater brokerage support and a more intimate, family setting.” Of course, he is also thrilled the oldest boutique firm in town is opening a Virginia Highland near his condo later this year.

Austin graduated magna cum laude from The University of Georgia where he earned a B.B.A. in real estate at the Terry College of Business. Since launching his career in residential real estate, Austin has been recognized as one of the youngest Atlanta Board of REALTORS® Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club members.

He remains active with UGA through alumni events and also enjoys “build days” with the Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. On the rare occasion, he has downtime, he enjoys running through Piedmont Park or on the Beltline, perusing car magazines or relaxing on Saint Simons Island — his favorite getaway spot.
