ATLANTA – Veteran Atlanta real estate executive Spalding White joins Dorsey Alston, Realtors® the luxury real estate firm, as Senior Vice President, Associate Managing Broker after resigning from Harry Norman, Realtors Buckhead office where he was Vice President, Managing Broker. In a statement made on Friday, August 15th, the Buckhead-based firm’s President, Jody Abstance, announced that, “Spalding White, a past president of the Atlanta Board of Realtors® and recipient of the Board’s Realtor of the Year and President’s Award, is one of the city’s most respected and experienced real estate leaders. His leadership talents along with his mastery of residential sales and marketing, specifically in the upper-tier market, are recognized by his peers and agents alike.”
White, an Atlanta native with 35 years backgound in the profession, “brings an enhanced dimension of management skills and strategic planning to Dorsey Alston.” White assumed his new responsibilities Monday, August 18th.
White, who received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from Georgia State University, served in the U.S. Marine Corps with the rank of Captain. He has been named a Captain of Industry by the Atlanta Board of Realtors® and was the first dean of the Board’s Leadership Program to provide guidance to future Atlanta Board of Realtors® leaders. Spalding and with his wife, Ida, are north Atlanta residents.
