Dr. Chuck Sykes, a recently retired local radiologist, brings an interesting and insightful background to the Dorsey Alston agent community. Over the last 20 years Chuck has developed, built or remodeled, marketed, and helped manage 13 exquisite beach homes along scenic 30A in South Walton County FL. These generated over $6,000,000 in rental income and $30,000,000 sales. Combining metro Atlanta residency of over 29 years along with excellent interpersonal skills, intellect, and strong business aptitude places his real estate clients in a preferential position to succeed.

 

Having lived with a long line of successful NAR Members (mother, sister, wife, and daughter), Chuck understands the real estate business and knows what it takes to win. Chuck is very family oriented being blessed with two fantastic daughters (Julia Sykes who was the number 6 individual agent at Dorsey Alston in 2021, and Dr. Katie Sykes-Martin, Emory University Department of Radiation Oncology). Emilie, his wife of 34 years is an outstanding interior designer, florist, and artist.

 

Education: University of Pittsburgh BA History and Philosophy of Science; Georgetown University School of Medicine (MD); University of Florida Radiology Residency; Georgetown University Medical Center Body Imaging/Interventional Fellowship.

 

Work Experience: 1993-2020 Roswell Radiology Associates/Quantum Radiology primarily working at, and served as Chairman, Department of Radiology North Fulton Hospital Roswell GA.

 

Personal interests: A love of all people and seeking the good in humanity; participation in men’s fellowship groups and attending North Point Community Church; volunteer radiologist at Beacon of Hope Women’s Health Center; Collector of Breweriana (beer related antiquities) and Philately (stamp collecting). Much of Dr. Sykes’ education was financed by stamp dealing. He enjoys traveling with family and friends, especially to Scenic 30A beaches; college and professional sports, especially football.
