Druid Hills Homes and Lifestyle
Located between Midtown and Decatur, Druid Hills is home to some of Atlanta’s historic homes dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is in close proximity to Piedmont Park, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, and an abundance of restaurants. Druid Hills History
In 1914, the prestigious Emory University relocated its main campus to sit within Druid Hills. Because Druid Hills is part of both the city of Atlanta and unincorporated Dekalb County, it earned its nickname in the late 19th century of the “perfect suburb.”

Druid Hills Schools
Public Schools within the area include Fernbank Elementary, Druid Hills Middle School, and Druid Hills High School. Paideia School is a private school in this area. Emory University is also located within Druid Hills.
