    Morningside, a historic Midtown Atlanta neighborhood, has approximately 3,500 residents.  The majority of properties are single-family homes.  In addition to historical homes, you will find both new construction and renovated historical properties.  It is known as one of Atlanta’s most walk-able neighborhoods with all of its walking paths and also connected to Piedmont Park with the new north entrance into the park.  The Morningside Nature Preserve is 30 acres of mostly undeveloped woods.  Residents can take advantage of the Morningside Farmers Market, the Piedmont Park Green Market, one of the many nearby parks and playgrounds, or many of the popular restaurants.

  • Morningside History
    Morningside was founded in 1931 making it one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods.  Many of the houses date back to the early 20th century.  You will find streets named after early settlers such as Plaster, and Cheshire.  Morningside is located near the downtown and midtown business districts, making it a convenient location for many residents.

    Public Schools within the area include Morningside Elementary, Inman Middle School, and Henry W. Grady High School.  Nearby private schools include The Paideia School, The Children’s School, and Heritage Preparatory School.
