    Underwood Hills is considered one of the more affordable neighborhoods.  It is located on Atlanta’s Westside.  Interstate 75 runs through Underwood Hills making Midtown and downtown easily accessible!  The Underwood Hills Park offers green space, tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball courts, and a picnic area.  There are also a handful of popular restaurants within walking distance of the neighborhood.  From single family homes, townhomes, condominiums, and apartments, this neighborhood has so much to offer.  The Underwood Hills Neighborhood Association works to plan events throughout the year for the residents to enjoy and get to know one another.  

  • Underwood Hills History
    Underwood Hills was established in 1902.  Many of the homes throughout this neighborhood were built in the early 20th century.  However, some of the houses in the neighborhood were torn down when the construction of Interstate 75 began.

  • Underwood Hills Schools
    Public Schools within the area include E. Rivers Elementary, Sutton Middle School, and North Atlanta High School.  Some private schools in the area include Atlanta International School, Pace Academy, The Westminster Schools, and The Lovett School.
