With over three decades of experience as a Real Estate agent, Peggy brings a wide range of knowledge to the residential real estate market. She joined Dorsey Alston Realtors in 2012 after being with another company for many years.
Peggy is a native Atlantan who grew up in the Buckhead area, attended the local schools and has lived in the area since returning from college.
Although the major part of Peggy's business has been inside the perimeter, she has by no means limited her focus, having sold and listed in the outlying areas including; Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Roswell, Alpharetta and East and West Cobb County. Peggy is willing to go the extra mile for her buyers and sellers with much attention to every detail of the buying or selling process. Her clients respect her vast experience as well as her forthright manner in trying to price a property for an advantageous sale and also negotiating a contract so that everyone feels it is a win, win situation for all concerned. Prior to becoming a Realtor®, Peggy worked as a tour guide for a company that arranged tours in and around Atlanta for out of town visitors. This experience gave her even more knowledge of Atlanta and its environs to pass on to her clients.
Peggy is a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors®, the Georgia Association of Realtors®, the National Association of Realtors®. She furthered her real estate education by Graduating from the Real Estate Institute. In addition she took a course on “Building A Home” which gives her an in dept knowledge of the home construction process which she is able to share with her clients.
Peggy graduated from Washington Seminary High Schooll, a private girls school in Atlanta, which was the predecessor to the Westminster Schools. She then graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri with an Associate Degree in Pre-School Education
Peggy is married to Jack Johnson and has three married children, all who live in Atlanta and who have given her six wonderful grandchildren.
