About This Agent

Emily’s Atlanta knowledge of real estate runs deep since she was born and raised in Atlanta in the Buckhead area. She started her real estate career in 2002 working with Wes Vawter on the “Vawter Vision Team” at Jenny Pruitt & Associates. Wes was and still is a top performing agent and she was grateful to have learned the business from one of the best. She learned quickly and started establishing an outstanding reputation throughout Metro-Atlanta.

She started her professional career working in media at West Wayne Advertising before moving to a startup IT sales company called EDSI. She worked in outside and inside sales and eventually managed a team of 10 before transitioning into her real estate career. As a Realtor, Emily is known for taking a hands-on approach and getting to know her clients’ short and long term goals. She then utilizes her background in sales to take a comprehensive approach to the sale, including pricing, marketing strategies and contract negotiations.

Emily grew up in the Buckhead area and attended Christ the King and then Marist High School before earning her bachelor’s degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Since college she has lived and worked in Midtown, Virginia Highland, and Buckhead. Emily enjoys working with a wide variety of clients, from multi-million-dollar homeowners to first time buyers, and specializes in Atlanta’s “in-town” markets such as Buckhead, Brookhaven, Virginia Highland, Morningside, Midtown and West Midtown.  Her strong roots in Atlanta mean she has a vibrant real estate network and she is considered an expert on Atlanta’s neighborhoods, from their public and private schools on down to their grocery stores. Her tenure in the business, combined with great professionalism and care, make her a true expert.

She and her husband Brian have three children Caroline (14), John (12) and Thomas (7). They live in the Springlake neighborhood in Buckhead and attend Northside Methodist Church. She plays ALTA tennis at Ansley Golf Club and stays involved in all of her children’s schools. In her leisure time, she enjoys relaxing with friends and family, playing tennis and travelling.
