Since pivoting in 2016 to a career in real estate, Kim has produced over $50 million in individual sales. And with over $14.5 million sold in 2021 alone, Kim closed 2021 with a record-breaking, career-high and based on volume sales, ranked #19 out of nearly 300 agents at Dorsey Alston and Top 5% of all Atlanta Realtor Association members.
Embodying the Dorsey Alston values of integrity, discretion, and professionalism, Kim is held in high esteem by her peers, including that of 30-year real estate veteran, Pat Junod. Today, Kim and Pat are the powerhouse, mother-daughter duo behind The Junod+Abbate Team – a full-service real estate group providing clients everything from professional home staging and social media marketing support to recommendations for instant curb appeal and simple, yet effective home updates. Over the years, Kim has witnessed firsthand the incredible transformation of the Atlanta metro area and is proud to live and work in a city that, through all of its changes and growth, continues to invest in its communities. From the expansion of the Atlanta BeltLine revitalization project to the new development of City Springs in Sandy Springs and the vibrancy of Ponce City Market, Atlanta is a unique metropolis that never ceases to inspire her.

Purchasing a home is a major decision, and Kim feels fortunate to have embarked on a career that brings the American dream of owning a home, quite literally, to her clients’ front door. In this highly competitive Atlanta real estate market, it’s important to Kim that her clients feel confident knowing they’re working with someone who will always act in their best interest.
Prior to real estate, Kim spent over a decade developing award-winning, business-to-business marketing strategies for an Atlanta-based analytics firm delivering behavior-centric, data-driven customer experience solutions to Fortune 500 companies, like Marriott, Comcast, Cox Communications, and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Kim Abbate holds a B.A. in Merchandising & Marketing from the University of Georgia and is a graduate of Walton High School in Marietta, East Cobb.
Kim and her husband, Jon, live in Sandy Springs with their toddler, Ashton, infant son, Lucas and two beloved rescue dogs, Elle and Bear. The family of five resides in a fully renovated 1950s ranch-style, brick home that is entirely their own design, from the flipped floor plan to the custom finishes throughout (hand-selected by Kim, of course).
