    The Chastain Park neighborhood is located around Atlanta’s largest public park, Chastain Memorial Park.  This park attracts many active and young families to live in the neighborhood.  Chastain Park is made up of 268 acres of green space.  The park includes ball fields, jogging trails, a playground, a swimming pool, a golf course, an equestrian club, tennis courts, a gymnasium, a community garden, arts center, restaurant and an amphitheater.  Chastain Park Amphitheater is said to be Atlanta’s oldest outdoor music venue.  Northside Youth Organization offers baseball, softball, basketball leagues for children.  As you can see, Chastain Park has so much to offer!

  • Chastain Park History
    Fulton County proposed to develop this neighborhood in 1940.  Shortly after this, the construction of the amphitheater was completed in 1944 and the park was completed a year later in 1945.  Chastain Memorial Park and beautiful residential homes are what make up this neighborhood.   
     

  • Chastain Park Schools
    Public Schools within the area include Warren T. Jackson Elementary, Sutton Middle School, and North Atlanta High School.  The Galloway School is a private school that is found within the neighborhood.
