Loring Heights Homes and Lifestyle
Loring Heights is a small intown neighborhood consisting of approximately 330 homes. It can be found just north of Atlantic Station and Georgia Tech. Between shopping, restaurants, a movie theater, and events that go on throughout the year, Atlantic station has so much to offer. The Woodruff Arts Center is also right by Loring Heights. With both of these attractions nearby, residents will never have a hard time finding something to do! Living in this neighborhood, you can always stay active and take advantage of the outdoors by going to Loring Heights Park or Tanyard Creek Greenspace. Loring Heights is easily accessible to all parts of the city because of how close it is to I-75, I-85, I-285, and GA 400. -
Loring Heights History
The majority of the homes in this neighborhood were built in the 1940s. Now one neighborhood, Loring Heights was once divided into two subdivisions: Lynhurst Acres to the south of Deering Road and Loring Heights to the north of Deering Road. -
Loring Heights Schools
Public Schools within the area include E. Rivers Elementary, Sutton Middle School, and North Atlanta High School. Private schools in the area include Paideia School, Christ the King School, and Atlanta International School. Georgia Tech’s campus is also very close to Loring Heights.
