Julia helped us find our first home in an up and coming area during the covid19 season. And we are so thankful to have had her by our side. She was highly responsive, always making time for us as soon as she could, and very flexible with work schedules. When we would go through a house she gathered as much information as possible from the seller if they were there like what piping, what issues there could be, and she could recognize and tell us what was to code and what we would have to fix in a home later down the road. Overall Julia is an eager and joyful person to go through the home buying process with! She even answers our questions now, two months later, if we have them.

I first spoke to Allen about the intricacies of a short sale. Allen listened carefully and suggested before I considered a short sale, I should attempt to market the property for sale at the correct price point. Allen is very knowledgable about putting together a listing which will appeal to audience interested in a specific price point. Allen helped me price the property correctly. After the first offer fell thru because of financing issues, Allen was adroit enough to go to a Plan B quickly. His negotiating skills were firm but not inflexible. Allen had to stay on top of the second offer inasmuch as the purchaser was out of the country and unable to have all papers signed and notarized properly. Allen communicated via email and encouraged the buyer to work with all deliberate haste to get to the American Embassy in London where the paperwork could be signed and notarized. His emails to the prospective buyer were firm but not coercive. Meanwhile, Allen had another buyer in the wings and patiently explained to me the ins and outs of the third buyer. Allen's attention to detail was superb and his communicating skills, written and verbal, most impressive I highly recommend Allen Minter and am most grateful I had the opportunity to work with him.

I’ve bought and sold many houses in my lifetime. Jill Slone is one of the best agents I’ve ever worked with. I bought my last house from her and then used her to sell it 8 years later.
