After 20 years in the same house and kids heading to college, it was time to go. We listed our house with Kate and she took the reins and told us exactly what we needed to do to get the house ready to sell. Kate is a straight-shooter, and she was very clear about what would be required in order to ensure a smooth sales process. She was professional, reassuring and best of all, was completely level-headed and funny. We all got along really well throughout the process and if Kate hadn’t been the person guiding the sale of our house, it’d likely still be for sale. During our closing, Kate was the only one in the room who had all of her ducks together and caught several glaring errors introduced by other parties. For our next step, we were buying a townhouse and fully intended to do so without an agent. It didn't take long for us to realize that there were many unanticipated issues and questions; we were in over our heads – Kate to the rescue! Again. I can’t say enough good things about her and am happy to now call her a good friend.

We met Karina by chance at an open house, several months before we were actually ready to get serious about buying. But I kept her card (for probably 6+ months) because I was so impressed with her. So when we got ready to buy, we reached out and had a call with her. We also reached out to a couple other agents but we really felt like Karina was the best fit. Turns out it was the BEST decision. She has a lot of great qualities that make her a great agent, but I think what I would highlight the most is her crazy and wonderful attention to detail. There are a lot of steps in the home-buying process and some of them can go very wrong if not handled by someone who really knows what they are doing. Karina led us every step of the way and worked day and night to jump on everything quickly and extremely accurately. Just like most homebuying transactions, ours was unique in some ways and took a bit of special navigating. But Karina did it absolutely perfectly. We would highly recommend her for any home buying/selling...no matter the size or complexity of the transaction!

What a wonderful agent. Always thinking ahead and planning, flawless execution of trying to sell our house under many variables going against it. She went above and beyond and we really recommend her. Also kind and smiles all the time. Who does that?!!!

I first spoke to Allen about the intricacies of a short sale. Allen listened carefully and suggested before I considered a short sale, I should attempt to market the property for sale at the correct price point. Allen is very knowledgable about putting together a listing which will appeal to audience interested in a specific price point. Allen helped me price the property correctly. After the first offer fell thru because of financing issues, Allen was adroit enough to go to a Plan B quickly. His negotiating skills were firm but not inflexible. Allen had to stay on top of the second offer inasmuch as the purchaser was out of the country and unable to have all papers signed and notarized properly. Allen communicated via email and encouraged the buyer to work with all deliberate haste to get to the American Embassy in London where the paperwork could be signed and notarized. His emails to the prospective buyer were firm but not coercive. Meanwhile, Allen had another buyer in the wings and patiently explained to me the ins and outs of the third buyer. Allen's attention to detail was superb and his communicating skills, written and verbal, most impressive I highly recommend Allen Minter and am most grateful I had the opportunity to work with him.
